ADAIRSVILLE, GEORGIA — Ratanza Winters-Gardner, 34, of Adairsville, tragically lost her life in a two-vehicle crash involving 30-year-old Andrea Leigh Stegall of Greenville County, South Carolina, on Joe Frank Harris Parkway near Horseshow Road. Georgia State Patrol troopers responded to the devastating collision shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, where Winters-Gardner was found deceased at the scene.

According to investigators, Stegall was driving a Toyota 4Runner southbound on Joe Frank Harris Parkway when her vehicle struck the rear of a Honda Accord driven by Winters-Gardner. The force of the collision caused both vehicles to leave the west shoulder of the roadway.

Despite the emergency response, Winters-Gardner could not be saved. She died at the scene, leaving behind family, friends and loved ones who are now facing the unimaginable pain of losing someone so suddenly.
