In Loving Memory of Jacqueline Smith, 51, of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, whose life was tragically cut short following a devastating UTV crash Friday afternoon in Penn Township, Clearfield County.
Jacqueline was one of three occupants traveling in a UTV on Keiser Road when the vehicle failed to negotiate a left turn, left the roadway, and struck a tree. She was ejected from the UTV and suffered fatal injuries.
Authorities said none of the occupants were wearing seat belts or helmets at the time of the crash. Troopers also determined that the driver was under the influence and is expected to face a charge of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
Behind the heartbreaking details of this tragedy was a woman whose life meant so much to the people who knew and loved her. Jacqueline’s sudden passing has left family, friends, and loved ones grieving a loss that words cannot fully express.
At just 51 years old, Jacqueline had so much more life ahead of her. Her passing is a painful reminder of how quickly life can change and how precious every moment with the people we love truly is.
Though she is no longer here, the memories Jacqueline created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. The moments shared, the conversations, the laughter, and the love she gave will remain part of the lives of those she leaves behind.
During this difficult time, may Jacqueline’s family and loved ones find strength in one another and comfort in the memories they hold close. May they be surrounded by compassion and support as they navigate the painful days ahead.
🕯️ Rest in peace, Jacqueline Smith.
