In loving memory of 39-year-old Jaekeon Lee of Round Rock, Texas, whose life was tragically cut short following a serious vehicle crash in Temple early Tuesday morning.
The Temple Police Department reported that the crash occurred at approximately 12:46 a.m. Lee was traveling southbound with a passenger when the vehicle was reportedly moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle eventually left the roadway and overturned, resulting in devastating injuries.
Lee sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital for emergency medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The passenger who was traveling with Lee was also taken to the hospital and treated for injuries described by authorities as minor and non-life-threatening.
