MINERVA, OH — Bridget E. Reagan, 35, of Minerva, Ohio, lost her life Saturday evening, Aug. 15, 2026, in a heartbreaking single-vehicle crash after a tree fell onto the vehicle she was driving along U.S. Route 30 in Stark County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred at approximately 5:24 p.m. near milepost 28 in Paris Township, just outside Minerva. Reagan was traveling westbound on U.S. Route 30 in a 2023 Jeep Wagoneer when a tree unexpectedly fell from a wooded area north of the roadway and struck her vehicle.

The sudden impact resulted in a devastating outcome. Reagan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said no other vehicles were involved in the crash. What should have been an ordinary Saturday evening drive along the highway instead became a tragic moment that ended the life of a 35-year-old woman and left those who knew and loved her facing an unimaginable loss.

The circumstances surrounding the falling tree and the moments leading up to the collision remain part of the ongoing investigation. The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Canton Post is continuing to examine the crash to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
